Rebecca provides practical commercial advice to employers on non-contentious matters including drafting contracts, post termination restrictions, advising on internal grievance and disciplinary procedures. She regularly supports employers in employment tribunal claims (defending unfair dismissal and discrimination claims).


Having qualified in 2006, Rebecca joined asb law from Reading-based, Clarkslegal LLP, where she was Senior Solicitor advising primarily employers on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Her commercial, pragmatic style and ability to immerse herself in the client business to ensure advice is relevant and on point, both legally and commercially, has led to clients praising her "technical knowledge and commercial awareness", going on to say: "She is pragmatic, responsive, and able to give me quick answers at short notice, followed up with detailed explanations of the legal position."


Rebecca provides in-house training to employer clients and is frequently invited to speak at seminars (including regional CIPD).


Rebecca is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and listed as associate to watch in Chambers & Partners 2016 and 2017.
