How we do it

Keeping up with ever-changing HR legislation places additional pressure on senior managers and directors. We work closely with you to ensure that your workforce issues do not detract from strategic objectives such as profitability, employee relations and business reputation.

Our employment lawyers have:

  • advised the largest UK tour operator on the employment aspects of its merger to create a global travel group
  • acted for a large catering business on all of their People issues, including guiding them through a complex restructure and defending a variety of Employment Tribunal claims
  • acted for a local authority on TUPE issues arising from the transfer of property and staff to a third party
  • worked with a client in developing a bespoke on-site training programme for their senior management team and HR personnel on topics including managing illness, changing contracts and data protection
  • acted for a telecommunications company in obtaining an injunction in the High Court against their former Managing Director who stole confidential information and breached restrictive covenants
  • guided a ground handling company through complex pay negotiations with trade union and subsequent strike action
  • acted for a Kent-based newsprint producer on a proposed restructure and outsourcing functions involving TUPE advice and the negotiation of new shift patterns
  • advised on the employment aspects of a multi-million pound fraud involving advice on the monitoring of communications and data protection issues
