£3.375m settlement following motorcycle accident

What we say - Case study

£3.375m settlement following motorcycle accident

Our client suffered serious spinal injuries and badly damaged both wrists when he was thrown from his motorcycle by a car emerging from a side road.  The car, driven by a high profile horse trainer, simply hadn’t seen him and our client had no time to react.

Now a paraplegic, the combination of our client’s injuries mean that he requires constant care.

Personal injury specialist, Francis Lacy Scott, negotiated a lump sum payment of £1.375million, together with periodic index-linked annual payments of £100,000 for the rest of his life.  The total value of the settlement therefore equates to £3.375million.

Because of the degree of care he requires, our client will never be able to live independently but will at least enjoy a secure future.  We have put in place a Personal Injury Trust and will help to administer the trust for his benefit.
