Road traffic accident

What we say - Case study

Road traffic accident

Our client suffered open fractures of the right tibia and fibula after being hit by a car at a petrol station.  A driver, who was talking to someone at the garage, suddenly shot forward striking the Claimant. He was hit into the main road where he was struck by a second vehicle.

Six months after the accident it was noted that the tibia fracture had not healed and our client was referred to Kings College Hospital in London for a cage to be fitted that would require adjustment over a year. A 6-figure settlement was finally agreed, which included the Claimants treatment costs at a local private medical facility.
